To-ji-bi's Standard Schnauzers

We have had dogs since 1978 and in August '95 we got our first standard schnauzer, a pepper/salt male. When he got over his awkward age he became a little dull and we then got a black male. That really put life into our home.

When we lost our pepper/salt male we continued having only black schnauzers. In May 2000 we got our first bitch, which has done very well at dog shows. She got her first litter in June 2002.

When the bitch was going to have puppies we were to think of a name for the kennel. We chose a rather unconventional one formed out of the names of our children - Tomas, Jimmi and Bianca.

To-ji-bi

We have only had few litters so far but have from the beginning valued quality highly especially regarding temper as a well behaved dog in everyday life is the main thing.

The dogs are our big hobby and also a big part of our family (maybe a little too big part according to our friends). We use a lot of our spare time to show them both inside and outside Denmark.

May 2008 we got one more black schnauzer, this time a miniature schnauzer – Chili. Although the mini schnauzer is a small dog, it is a big dog in a little body. Chili has already done very well on shows.
